THE COMPANY YOU KEEP It Is Better To Be Alone, Than In The Wrong Company. Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. A mirror reflects a mans face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses. The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate for the good and the bad. The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you. Consider This: Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person. Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere. With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it. Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life. Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.

Dr. Art Jones of the Bible Base Fellowship Church in Tampa, Florida stopped by our studio in Atlanta to have some images created. Both Dr. Jones and Mrs. Jones were an honor and a privilege to have in our studio speaking words of encouragement and just learning from observing the love they have from one another. The experience was inspirational for me and my wife whom was present at the session. We first worked with Dr. Jones on the CD project a couple of years back and their ministry has continued to support Phoetic. The Legacy: We all hope to leave behind a legacy when we are called to the next level. That is exactly what RW Wiggins did in his lifetime Built a Legacy. RW Wiggins was the founding Pastor of The Hope in Orlando, Florida and the father of my good friend and Pastor, Allen Wiggins, who is pictured here with is wife Debra Wiggins.RW always greeted me with a smile and always new if I was in Church or not. RW was one of the cleanest most well dressed men I know that kept a clean Cadillac. RW will be greatly missed here but never forgotten because he left a legacy. His family continues the legacy and we thank you for the love that is shown to us.

This Phoetic Executive Artist Session was outstanding. Ltanya Moore is one of the most real and down to earth individuals you will meet. When people pursue their passion or purpose you are impacting more than just your life. Fatima Hall, publisher of Image Magazine, put together this project and because we had the privilege of working with her on Bishop Carlos Malones album Fatima called upon Phoetic for another opportunity. Very seldom do you meet people in life that are real in what they say and do. One never knows how pursuing a vision will have an affect on others. When Ali worked for Vibe Magazine they were putting on an event in Orlando called Vibe Live. Since Ali knew that we had a studio in Orlando he commissioned us for the event. We had the opportunity to be in front of the biggest stars in the Music Industry and we were getting paid for it. Ali always keeps it real and business. We had the opportunity to share a Phoetic Legacy moment with Ali and his family in ATL which was one of our first photo shoots in Atlanta. While in Miami I had the opportunity to meet up with my old roommate DeVaughn. We created this image when DeVaughn and his sister Shawanda completed their Masters Degrees two years ago. I would like to give a special shout out to our breakfast spots, Jacksons in Overtown, MLK in the City, and Arlenes in Miami Gardens. We had fish and grits at all three locations and after each meal we developed Sleep Itis. Sleep Itis is the inflammation of the eyes after eating a meal that is absolutely delicious and your stomach is so full you have to sleep it off. LOL. If it had not been for DeVaughn I would still be at FAMU. Thank you my brother and keep the movement.

We have been asked who designed the Phoetic Logo. That would be my good friend Romain Mclean at www.wildfirenet.com we met at FAMU in a Photography class and we had to work on a project for class. Our theme was so funny it was Little Old Lady in a Shoe. When I find the Print I will post it. She also a graduated from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta Georgia. We finally have the Phoetic Gallery located in Stone Mountain Village in Atlanta Georgia. We love the location and the scenery that is great for sessions outside of the studio. The studio is 1800 sq ft and we are working on the interior decor. We are so excited about 2007 and Phoetic will be posting new products and displays. Keep checking back on the Blog for updates.

We have made the transition to the New State and we are in a New Place. We have sooooooo much information to share with our Phoetic family. If you did not have the opportunity to view the Evolution of the Black Family Exhibit in the City of Miramar you missed a treat. We have a Phoetic Film to recap the images used in the exhibit. Special thanks go out to family and friends who were in full support. Our very own www.liveonwaks.com even came in town to grace us with his presence. Camasha the one and only international business woman of the centurty, spear headed the entire event with the full support of City of Miramar.
